What's the endgame? The company automates on-chain the process banks use to deploy depositor capital across different-duration assets, but returns more of the economics to depositors. Why now? The raise lands ahead of infiniFi's token generation event, confirmed for Q4 2026. The new capital will fund protocol development, new integrations, multichain expansion, and product rollout as it moves toward the TGE.
By the numbers: Since launching in June 2025, infiniFi has generated more than $9 million in yield and hit an all-time high of $180 million in total value locked. With more than $6 million raised across its pre-seed and seed rounds, the protocol has now produced more yield than it has taken in outside capital.
What's next? The company plans to push beyond crypto-native users with infiniFi Prime, which aims to bring institutionally managed private credit into Earn accounts across neobanks and consumer apps. "We are expanding distribution for our offerings, while simultaneously diversifying the offerings that earn our users their returns," said founder and chief executive officer Rob Montgomery.
The signal: infiniFi is betting that the next wave of DeFi growth comes from connecting on-chain returns to off-chain users — a market far larger than crypto natives. Whether it can bridge that gap without inheriting the opacity it set out to avoid is the test ahead.
