CSL Group buys SIMPL Wireless in second 2026 acquisition, enters North America

What's the deal? CSL DualComDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired SIMPL Wireless, a US connectivity provider, for an undisclosed sum. SIMPL will keep serving its existing customers, carriers, and partners as SIMPL Wireless, a CSL GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → company, with its team joining CSL.

What does each do? CSL, founded in 1996, delivers managed IoT connectivity and patented rSIM multi-network resilience across more than three million connections in building security, healthcare, infrastructure, utilities, and transport. SIMPL builds EverSIM, a multi-carrier eSIM that lets customers buy connectivity or bring their own from up to 100 mobile network operators, plus Compass, a single dashboard to manage SIMs and eSIMs.

Why now? IoT estates are growing across borders, pushing enterprises to manage every SIM, contract, and network from one place. Unified management lowers cost and speeds deployment, while multi-network resilience keeps devices connected when a network fails.

What's the endgame? The deal gives CSL an immediate US customer base, a local go-to-market team, and Tier-1 carrier relationships including T-Mobile and ThalesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Combined with CSL's rSIM resilience and July acquisition IoTM's connectivity orchestration, SIMPL rounds out a single operating model: manage every SIM and eSIM, and stay online when a network drops.

SIMPL serves solution providers and resellers alongside customers in retail, transport, energy, and EV charging. Its EverSIM runs on GSMADealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → SAS-certified Thales infrastructure, supports 5G Standalone, and is backward-compatible to NB-IoT.

Enterprise eSIM deployments have historically taken a year or more. SIMPL says EverSIM compresses that to days.

"SIMPL was built on three ideas: speed, simplicity and control," said chief executive officer Jason Morrow. "Joining CSL Group puts that on a platform engineered for uptime and backed by three decades of critical connectivity expertise. For our customers, nothing changes on day one except what we can now offer them."

Ed Heale, chief executive officer of CSL Group, said: "Customers shouldn't have to choose between flexibility and resilience. Bringing SIMPL into CSL Group gives us a home in North America and a platform that lets customers connect anywhere, with the certainty critical applications require."

The signal: This is CSL's second acquisition in 2026, following IoTM SolutionsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in July, pointing to steady consolidation in IoT connectivity as providers assemble end-to-end stacks spanning hardware, multi-carrier eSIMs, and management platforms. For a market where cross-border scale and resilience increasingly decide deals, buying into the US gives CSL both reach and carrier leverage it would take years to build.
