What's the deal? French fintech 3PayDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired the assets and team of fellow French startup MoneyTrackDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → for an undisclosed sum. The deal, announced in October 2026, is 3Pay's first acquisition and comes alongside a €1.5 million funding round, its second since launch.

What each company does: 3Pay, founded in Lyon in July 2020 by Jérémy Benhaïm, built a Mastercard-backed payment card that lets patients pay for care without fronting costs covered by their insurer. What changes? MoneyTrack's nine staff join 3Pay, which gains a company working with four mutual insurers, mainly in French overseas territories, managing data for more than 300,000 beneficiaries. Combined, the two firms are valued at €6.2 million, according to Benhaïm.

What's the endgame? The deal lets 3Pay check an insured person's coverage in real time before a payment is triggered, confirming on the spot whether an expense is covered. "In insurance, you must control before paying, not after," Benhaïm said (translated from French), framing it as a tool to curb fraud and spot fictitious claims early.

Beyond health: 3Pay is using the acquisition to move into other insurance markets. It is launching TyrisDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a new offering for car and home insurance, applying the same principle of verifying a claim before releasing funds — for instance, after a car accident or water damage.
