Kitchen Secret raises $120K seed to scale ready-to-eat sauces

What's the deal? Kitchen Secrets Pvt.Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an Indian ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook sauces brand, has raised US$154.8K in seed funding. BeyondSeedDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → led the round, with participation from angel investors — the company's first external capital.

What's the endgame? The money will fund marketing, inventory, and wider distribution across quick-commerce platforms. Kitchen Secret also plans to scale its business-to-business operations across direct-to-consumer, quick-commerce, and institutional channels.

The backstory: Founded in 2016 by Renuka Kedia and Manav Kedia, the brand relaunched in 2023 with refreshed branding and a wider product range. Its sauces span Italian, Mexican, and Korean-inspired flavours.

By the numbers: The company runs its own facility producing around 500kg per day and has sold more than 100,000 jars. It is available across more than 500 Blinkit dark stores and sells through its website, Zepto, and Amazon.

What else? Kitchen Secret supplies the hotel, restaurant, and catering sector and offers white-label and private-label manufacturing for other brands. BeyondSeed operates investment funds in India and GIFT City, Gujarat.

The signal: At roughly $120,000, this is a small early-stage cheque — in the bottom quarter of comparable rounds. It reflects investor appetite for packaged-food brands riding India's quick-commerce distribution boom.
