Lodestone raises $41.9M in IPO, hits NZX listing minimum

What's the deal? Lodestone Energy, a New Zealand solar farm developer, has raised US$48.5M (≈$41.9 million) in its initial public offer — the minimum required to proceed with the capital raise. The offer closed on October 14, with shares due to be allotted on October 21 and listing on the NZXDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → the following day.

Why now? The offer is the first on the NZX in some time, and Lodestone secured just enough demand to clear the threshold needed to go ahead.

What's the endgame? Lodestone builds and operates solar farms, including a site at Whitianga. The IPO gives it fresh capital to pursue that development pipeline as a listed company.

The signal: Hitting the floor rather than the ceiling, Lodestone's raise points to cautious appetite for new listings — but reopening the NZX IPO window at all is a notable test for renewable energy issuers.
