Why now? According to BWCI, the sellers initiated the talks. "When Dorothy and Ray approached us about the future of 4insight, it was clear there was a strong fit between the two businesses," said Stephen Ainsworth, senior partner at BWCI Group.

What changes? There are no immediate changes for 4insight's clients. It will keep its existing team and its physical presence in Jersey. Dorothy Parker will stay on as a director, while Dr Lindsay Jefferies takes over as managing director from October 1, 2026.

Parker, who founded 4insight, said she wanted a partner "that would preserve the company's values, support our team and provide opportunities for future growth."

The signal: The deal reflects consolidation among the Channel Islands' research providers, pooling quantitative and qualitative expertise under one group while preserving a local footprint across both main islands.
