Silver Pony arranges $704K flow-through placement for BC exploration

What's the deal? Silver Pony ResourcesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has arranged a non-brokered private placement of up to 4,347,826 flow-through shares at 23 cents each, for gross proceeds of up to US$0.73-million (about $704,000). The company expects to close the offering on or about October 23, 2026.

What's the endgame? Silver Pony is an early-stage mineral explorer. It will use the proceeds for exploration work at its Silver Pony project in southeastern British Columbia — 37 contiguous tenures totalling 37,022.88 hectares across the Slocan and Revelstoke mining districts.

Why flow-through? The shares qualify as flow-through shares under Canada's Income Tax Act, letting investors claim the exploration spending as Canadian exploration expenses and critical mineral mining expenditures. That structure is a common funding route for junior Canadian miners seeking to stretch exploration budgets.

The fine print: Finders' fees of up to 7% in cash and 7% in broker warrants may apply, in line with Canadian Securities Exchange policy. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share at 23 cents for 24 months. All securities carry a four-month-and-one-day statutory hold period.

The signal: At roughly $704,000, this is a small raise even by junior-mining standards, placing it in the bottom tier of disclosed financings. For an exploration-stage company, though, flow-through capital is less about scale than about keeping drilling programs funded through the next season.
