Try Dealroom →, has raised US$61.1K in an all-equity pre-seed round from ISB D-Labs and angel investors. Founded by Nehal Sharma, the company will use the capital for its market launch, product development, manufacturing, and distribution.
What's the endgame? The startup is building nutrition products for children aged two to 12, including daily nutrition powders, hydration powders, and micronutrient gummies without added sugars. Its initial portfolio features age-specific formulations designed for regular use alongside everyday meals.
Why now? As You Asked said its product development drew on conversations with more than 100 parents, over 200 child taste tests, and an early pilot involving more than 200 customers. The work focused on children's taste preferences, eating patterns, and family routines.
The funds will also support consumer communication and efforts to build trust among parents, with an emphasis on ingredient selection, formulation, and product transparency. The company positions its products as supplements to regular meals rather than replacements, and said they are made in GMP-certified and FDA-approved facilities.
The signal: As You Asked plans to expand into other nutrition categories over time while keeping its focus on everyday needs — a bet that parents will pay for transparent, age-specific formulations as a daily habit.
