What's the endgame? RevRag's AI agents automate customer onboarding, product sales, and support, offering real-time, multilingual assistance to cut conversion drop-offs. The startup claims its services can save up to 70% of costs versus traditional channels, and is targeting $50 million in annual recurring revenue by FY28.
The product: Founders Ashutosh Singh, Neeraj Gupta, and Pankaj Gupta started RevRag in 2023 as a savings-oriented fintech, then pivoted to SaaS in early 2025 after seeing how repetitive data entry and documentation bog down onboarding. Next, it plans to fine-tune its own multimodal small language models to bring its tech in-house; the platform currently runs on third-party proprietary models.
Market expansion: Part of the fresh capital will fund a push into the US. "The US has a vast number of companies from insurance to credit cards to loans. There is huge penetration there and a large market. And we see that there's not much competition yet in the category we're building in," cofounder and chief executive officer Ashutosh Singh told Inc42.
Why now? The round lands as AI adoption in fintech business functions accelerates. RevRag's bet is that financial institutions will increasingly outsource customer-facing automation rather than build it themselves.
