Bower School raises $2.82M to build Hyderabad campus

What's the deal? Bower School of EntrepreneurshipDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised US$3.64M in a pre-Series A round. The raise follows its US$1.56M seed round and drew returning backers, new education-sector investors, a Silicon Valley-based investor, and other high-net-worth individuals.

What's the endgame? The Hyderabad-based institution will use the capital to build a standalone campus in Hyderabad and expand a technology platform linking its programmes, mentors, founders, and community. It also plans to grow enrolment, hire educators and venture specialists, and strengthen its programmes.

Bower offers entrepreneurship programmes for school students, undergraduates, working professionals, and founders. It has supported more than 150 startups across nine programmes, reaching over 8,000 K-12 learners, 50 undergraduate students, and 150 executive education students. Its Founder OS network connects more than 2,000 founders.

Who's behind it? Founder and chief executive officer Pavan Allena previously built Metamorphosis EduDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which brought entrepreneurship learning into schools and was later acquired by BrightCHAMPS. Ravi Reddy and Bharath Maguluri have joined Bower as partners.

Market expansion: Alongside the campus plan, Bower intends to deepen work with existing university partners and set up new institutional collaborations across states — extending its reach beyond Hyderabad as it scales.

"Our ambition is to establish Bower as a leading centre for entrepreneurship in the country," said Allena.

The signal: The round reflects continued investor appetite for Indian edtech focused on practical, founder-oriented learning — betting that entrepreneurship can be taught as a hands-on discipline rather than a classroom subject.
