Roundhouse lists on AIM after £1.59m raise to track AI-agent payments

What's the deal? Roundhouse plcDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → began trading on London's AIM junior market on October 13, 2026, under the ticker RHAI. The company raised £1.59 million in gross proceeds alongside admission, pricing both a 30 million-share placing and a WRAP retail offer of roughly 1.84 million shares at 5p each.

What's the endgame? Roundhouse is building what it calls a neutral data and reputation infrastructure layer for the autonomous AI-agent economy. Its technology observes and records payments between AI agents and merchants, drawing on x402 settlements and on-chain identities.

Why now? The company launched the first version of its Dashboard on September 11, 2026, with Facilitator and Reputation Graph features offering live analytics on AI-agent activity. "AI agents are starting to pay each other and pay businesses, and that market needs a neutral record of who is paying, who is getting paid, and what it costs," said chief executive officer Matthew Lodge.

Following admission, Roundhouse has 282,089,832 ordinary shares in issue. The listing gives it fresh capital and a public-market platform while the business sits at an early commercial stage.

What could go wrong? Roundhouse said it does not expect material revenue at this stage, despite its payment functionality being operational. Its immediate priority is expanding data coverage and attracting users before introducing paid products such as Agent Reputation Scores and an aGDP Index, which management expects to be its first meaningful revenue generators.

The signal: The raise is small, but the thesis is forward-looking: as autonomous agents begin transacting independently, infrastructure to verify who pays whom — and what it costs — could become valuable. The execution test is whether Roundhouse can amass enough transaction and identity data to make its planned reputation products commercially worthwhile.
