Haven raises $15M pre-seed for personal AI 'digital twin

What's the deal? Haven has emerged from stealth with $15 million in pre-seed funding led by Mayfield. The startup, founded by serial entrepreneur Frank Addante and Duc Chau, launched its flagship product: a personal AI "digital twin" that acts as a private assistant across phone, text, email, and apps.

What's the endgame? Unlike assistants that require users to repeat their preferences, Haven builds a memory graph for each user, learning from prior interactions and choices. "Haven knows what you would do and proactively does it for you," said Addante, the chief executive officer.

What can it do? The AI prepares daily briefings, manages email, sends reminders, makes calls, and processes returns. Users set up recurring tasks in plain language, and Haven has logged over 2 million interactions since its private beta.

Why now? Investors are betting the next phase of consumer AI shifts from chatbots to agents that act on a user's behalf. "The next wave will know you, remember what matters, and do the work," said Navin Chaddha, managing partner at Mayfield.

What's next? Haven plans a developer platform letting third parties build apps that connect to a user's digital twin, extending it to devices such as televisions, cars, and smart home hardware. "The interface will keep changing. A person's context should not have to," said Chau.

The signal: The round reflects rising investor appetite for personalised, memory-driven AI that operates across platforms rather than sitting inside a single app. Haven is available on the Apple App Store, Google PlayDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and its website.
