What does Enhance do? It uses ontology technology — a method of structuring scattered corporate data and the relationships between it — to let AI understand work context and perform actual tasks. Its enterprise AI operating system is called AgentOS.

Why now? POSCO GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → had already applied AgentOS to office work across the group and tested its results before the investment. The two sides also signed an agreement to build AI agents specialised in executing tasks.

What's the endgame? POSCO DX is targeting the "tacit knowledge" that skilled employees build through experience — decision-making criteria and ways of handling exceptions that documents rarely capture. The plan is to structure that know-how as a data asset AI agents can draw on, then expand from office work to production, equipment, and logistics.

The companies intend to combine POSCO DX's experience in steel and logistics with Enhance's AgentOS to develop industry-specific AI solutions in stages. One early test is an AI agent that analyses financial profitability.

The signal: The deal fits a wider POSCO DX push to expand AI investments through its CVC. This year it is also pursuing strategic stakes in industrial humanoid robot makers and homegrown AI semiconductor startups, aiming to secure technologies it can link to the group's broader AI transformation.
