Oki Pro absorbs subsidiary Web Writer Pro to consolidate operations

What's the deal? Tokyo-based Oki Pro Co., Ltd. has merged with its wholly owned subsidiary, Web Writer Pro Co., Ltd.Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, effective October 1, 2026. Oki Pro is the surviving entity; Web Writer Pro ceases to exist. The deal value was not disclosed.

What each does: Oki Pro, founded in January 2019, runs an Ebisu coworking space and bar called "FFF," sells courses, and operates media. Web Writer Pro, founded in January 2023, offered SEO consulting, LLMO (AI search optimisation) support, and article production.

Why now? The two firms had separately managed staff, capital, and administration such as accounting and contracts. By folding both into one company, Oki Pro aims to speed up decision-making and streamline back-office work.

What changes for customers? Oki Pro assumes all of Web Writer Pro's contracts, with no change to services, contacts, or points of contact. Invoices from October 2026 carry the Oki Pro name; earlier billing stays under Web Writer Pro.

What's the endgame? Oki Pro says it will build out its web and store businesses on the consolidated footing. Its listed services now span SEO consulting, LLMO/AIO consulting, SEO article production, food and beverage, writer training, and media.

Keita Shimoji remains representative director. Daichi Fujikura, former head of Web Writer Pro, joined Oki Pro as representative director on October 1, 2026.

The signal: The tie-up reflects a small but telling push to merge content production with emerging AI-search services under one roof — concentrating resources as search optimisation shifts toward large language models.
