SensoFusion raises €300 million in oversubscribed Nasdaq Helsinki IPO
What's the deal? SensoFusion priced its initial public offering at €16.41 per share, giving it a market capitalisation of about €1.6 billion and gross proceeds of roughly €300 million, assuming the over-allotment option is exercised in full. The company's board resolved to complete the offering on October 8, 2026, after demand from Finnish and international investors left it several times oversubscribed.
Why now? Trading is set to begin on the prelist of Nasdaq Helsinki on or about October 9 and on the regulated market on or about October 13. The listing will lift SensoFusion's shareholder base to more than 21,800.
What's the endgame? The company is issuing new shares to fund a customer-facing investment programme. "Starting next week, we will begin working with our customers to roll out our extensive investment programme, with the aim of strengthening their capabilities as quickly as possible," said chief executive officer Tuomas Rasila.
By the numbers: SensoFusion will issue 15,783,059 new shares, rising to 18,300,800 if the over-allotment option is exercised in full — about 18.8% of shares outstanding after the offering. Principal owner Haave Oy and other selling shareholders will sell 1,001,885 existing shares alongside the issue.
The signal: A multiple-times oversubscribed listing at a €1.6 billion valuation signals renewed appetite for sizeable European technology debuts, with Helsinki drawing both domestic and international institutional money.
