Try Dealroom →, a South African investment banking firm, in one of three acquisitions announced on October 7, 2026. The other two targets are corporate advisory law firm Andersen in Italy and corporate finance and valuation firm Andersen in the Netherlands. Terms were not disclosed.

What each side brings: Andersen Group (NYSE: ANDG) provides tax, valuation, and financial advisory services, with a presence spanning more than 180 countries. Why now? The three deals bring Andersen's total completed or signed transactions in 2026 to 19, representing roughly $190 million in annualised revenue. Nine have closed; the remaining 10 are expected to complete this month or in the first quarter of 2027.

What's the endgame? Andersen is pairing acquisitions with regional leadership to build out its global platform. Andrea De Vecchi and Paolo Mondia co-lead its European operations, with De Vecchi also heading Andersen in Italy.

"M&A is becoming an increasingly meaningful component of Andersen's growth," said Mark L. Vorsatz, chairman and chief executive officer. "Just as importantly, we are putting experienced leadership in place to integrate these businesses."

The signal: Andersen is scaling through consolidation, adding both geography and complementary service lines across tax, legal, consulting, and corporate finance. The South Africa entry signals a push into African markets alongside its deeper European build-out.
