What's the endgame? Netsec runs a client's full IT and security stack through a single control plane spanning device management, identity, networking, infrastructure, security operations, help desk, and cloud. It argues that mid-market European firms juggle disconnected vendors, each with its own portal and contract, and aims to replace that with one operator.
The service is delivered through Slack or Microsoft TeamsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and priced per employee per month, starting at €19, rather than by the ticket or hour. The company says it can go live within a week by ingesting a client's existing stack and taking over the operator seat.
Who's behind it? Founded in 2025 by Gianluca Varisco and Guglielmo Reina, who first worked together at Rocket InternetDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. "We built Netsec so mid-market companies get the security and IT operations of a much larger organisation without having to build them in-house," said Varisco, co-founder and chief executive officer. He added that the company now manages thousands of endpoints for clients across Europe and the US, with a median incident response time under 14 minutes.
Why now? "Managed services have always scaled with headcount. Netsec breaks that link, pairing a single operator with automation that absorbs the volume work," said Réza Malekzadeh, general partner at Partech.
Netsec will use the capital to build out its automation and integration layer and accelerate growth across Europe and the US. The signal: The round sits in the top quarter of comparable early-stage raises, a sign of investor appetite for consolidating the fragmented market for mid-market IT and security services. Netsec's bet is that automation can decouple managed services from headcount — a model the market will test as it scales.
