What's the endgame? CrediFix wants to guide borrowers through every stage of repayment difficulty — understanding obligations, weighing options, communicating with lenders, and interpreting legal notices. The new capital will fund product development, strengthen its AI tools, and expand nationwide borrower support.

Who's behind it? Founded in 2025 by Ranjan Agarwal, Neeraj Kulkarni, and Ayush Kedia, CrediFix grew out of the founders' experience in debt recovery at banks and fintechs. It had earlier raised US$611.1K from K2 CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Invstt TrustDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and angel investors.

By the numbers: CrediFix serves more than 200,000 borrowers, representing over US$543.2M in outstanding debt. About 40% of its users sit in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, signalling demand beyond India's major metros.

Why now? India is seeing rapid expansion of formal consumer credit, with millions of first-time borrowers entering the system each year. Gen Z now accounts for 41% of new-to-credit borrowers, and by late 2025 more than one in four digital borrowers under 30 were delinquent on personal loans below US$679.

Unlike platforms focused only on credit-score improvement or refinancing, CrediFix covers the full lifecycle — from early distress to resolution and financial rehabilitation. Its tools include Risi, an AI financial assistant that identifies resolution pathways, and Neytra, an AI call shield.

What they said: "We are using artificial intelligence to simplify one of the most complex financial experiences, empowering individuals with clarity, confidence and actionable solutions," said co-founder Ranjan Agarwal.

The signal: Debt resolution remains one of the least digitised and most fragmented parts of financial services. As credit access widens faster than borrowers' ability to manage it, startups are betting that automated, borrower-centric tools can fill the gap.
