The startup, founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, builds an agentic workflow orchestration platform for banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) companies.

What's the endgame? The platform automates customer engagement, operations, servicing, and compliance workflows, starting with voice and expanding to channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, and email. "Voice AI is our entry point, not our destination," said Tiwari.

How it works: Desible.ai orchestrates more than 25 agentic workflows across revenue, risk, collections, underwriting, service, and claims, integrated with existing enterprise systems. It is built around deterministic decisioning, with disclosures, consent, and escalations run on predefined rules and each step made auditable.

The platform is designed to meet compliance frameworks including those from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Reserve Bank of India, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

By the numbers: The company says its platform handles more than 10 million customer engagements per month and is used or evaluated by more than 40 BFSI institutions. It currently works with insurance providers and plans to expand across the broader BFSI ecosystem.

What's the money for? The capital will go toward deepening agentic AI capabilities, strengthening compliance infrastructure, expanding go-to-market efforts, and accelerating product development.

The signal: The round reflects investor appetite for AI tools built specifically for regulated industries rather than generic models. "AI adoption in financial services won't be driven by generic models alone," said Gaurav Ranjan, principal at Prime Venture Partners, adding that moving "beyond conversation" to become an operational layer for insurers "makes the opportunity significantly larger than traditional voice automation."
