What's the deal? Quantum X Inc.Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (OTC: QUTX) has signed a binding letter of intent to acquire an 80% stake in UK-based TraderMade SystemsDealroom has a profile for this one. The $550,000 deal will be paid entirely in 550,000,000 Quantum X common shares priced at $0.001 each.

What each side brings: TraderMade is a financial market data company with more than three decades of experience, supplying real-time and historical foreign exchange data, APIs, and technology to institutions, fintechs, and quantitative research teams. Quantum X is a publicly traded firm pursuing quantum technology and artificial intelligence applications.

Why now? Quantum X frames the acquisition as critical infrastructure for its strategic transition into AI and quantitative computing. High-quality, institutional-grade datasets are the foundational requirement for training and running advanced models — and TraderMade supplies exactly that.

The terms: Beyond the equity, Quantum X will acquire all of Currency Mountain's rights to a £412,162.47 receivable (about $544,000), plus accrued interest, owed by TraderMade. The consideration shares are fixed, fully paid, and subject to a six-month lock-up after closing.

What's next? The parties plan to negotiate a definitive agreement, allowing up to 90 days for due diligence given the cross-border nature of the deal. Closing requires an independent valuation confirming the shares and receivable are worth at least $550,000, retention of key TraderMade staff, and all necessary regulatory and shareholder consents. Quantum X intends to commission PCAOB-audited financials for TraderMade within 71 days of closing.

What could go wrong? Currency Mountain is owned by Emil Assentato, making this an affiliated-party transaction subject to review and disclosure under securities law. Quantum X cautioned there is no assurance all conditions will be met or that the deal closes on the contemplated terms.

The signal: The acquisition reflects a wider pattern of AI and quantitative firms buying their way to proprietary data, treating curated financial datasets as strategic assets rather than commodities. For a small-cap pursuing a pivot, owning the data pipeline — not just licensing it — is the bet.
