What's the deal? Pursuit AerospaceDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired Creasey Castings LimitedDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a UK-based sandcasting specialist, in a deal completed on August 11, 2026. Terms were undisclosed. It is Pursuit's sixth acquisition since 2023.
Who's involved? Pursuit is a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components for OEM and Tier 1 aerospace and defence customers. Creasey brings a 35-year heritage of producing magnesium and aluminium castings for demanding applications.
Why now? The acquisition increases Pursuit's capacity "at a time when aerospace magnesium sandcasting availability is significantly constrained," the company said. Creasey sits next door to Pursuit's existing foundry in Sittingbourne, England.
What changes? Creasey will be folded into Pursuit's Sittingbourne operations, with planned investments to build on the combined capability. It adds a skilled workforce, broad alloy options, and in-house simulation, heat treat, and non-destructive testing.
What's the endgame? Pursuit is also expanding its casting operations in Tunis, Tunisia. On September 3, it began adding a third building — 40% more square footage — set to push the site past 140,000 square feet and 1,000 employees once complete in the second half of 2027. The Tunis site produces nickel- and cobalt-based investment castings and will insource more post-casting machining, aligning with Pursuit's vertical integration strategy.
"These actions significantly increase our investment and sandcasting capacity and add new capabilities to our casting operations," said Ben Adams, Pursuit's president and chief commercial officer.
The signal: With supply tight and demand climbing, Pursuit is consolidating specialist casters and scaling its own footprint to lock in capacity across the aerospace supply chain.
