What's the endgame? Founded by Luca Compagnucci, Juan Cruz Luján, and Jeremías Coppola, Berry lets customers invest in US markets without a US bank account. Users can fund accounts with Argentine pesos through local banks and digital wallets, or with stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.

Why now? The funding follows rapid growth. Berry reports about 30,000 registered accounts and roughly 3,000 daily active users, with assets on the platform up 200% last quarter.

What's the plan? The company is building Blueberry, a $5-per-month advisory subscription offering access to financial advisers and preferential terms, plus a referral program paying $5 per funded sign-up. Its longer-term aim is to make hard-to-access financial products available across emerging markets, using blockchain and tokenisation behind the scenes.

The signal: Berry's bet reflects a wider fintech push to merge investing with AI interfaces and digital assets. The $2 million round is a test of whether simplified tools can pull first-time investors in Latin America into US markets.
