Corcel upsizes private placement to $1.75M on strong demand for Arizona copper-gold play

What's the deal? Corcel ExplorationDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (CSE: CRCL) has increased its non-brokered private placement to US$1.83M (roughly $1.75 million), up from an initial US$1.1M target, citing strong investor demand. The offering will issue up to 25,000,000 units at US$0.07 each.

The terms: Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a warrant exercisable at US$0.15 for 24 months after closing. The company expects to close the deal on or around October 8, 2026, subject to filing with the Canadian Securities Exchange.

What's the endgame? Proceeds will fund exploration and working capital at Corcel's Yuma King copper-gold project in Arizona. The company holds a long-term lease to acquire the district-scale, 3,200-hectare land package, which spans 515 unpatented federal mining claims in the Ellsworth Mining District.

Why now? The Yuma King Mine historically produced copper, lead, gold, and silver underground from 1940 to 1963. Corcel did not detail how the funds will be split between exploration and working capital.

The signal: At about $1.75 million, the round sits in the smaller tier of mining financings — a modest, early-stage raise typical of junior explorers advancing a single project. The upsizing from US$1.1M signals that appetite for the Arizona copper-gold story outpaced the company's initial plans.
