What's the deal? WiserGates TechnologiesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a wealth fintech based at the Dubai International Financial Centre, has opened a pre-seed round at a $30 million valuation. It has secured anchor commitments from Tokyo-based NewVision JapanDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and London-based 1CS Holdings. Founders Muhammad Refayet Chowdhury and Md Nazibur Rahman are building a platform for fractional, blockchain-based investing.

What's the endgame? WiserGatesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →' flagship platform, NANO Assets, converts small pools of capital into fractional ownership of profitable, cash-generating businesses. These span farming, laundries, restaurants, groceries, gyms, and commodities trading. The company frames the goal as turning "captive capital into participative capital" across socioeconomic backgrounds.

What will the money do? The funding supports WiserGates' first market deployments and continued development of NANO Assets. It plans to launch in the UAE and the United Kingdom first, over the next 12 to 18 months.

Why now? WiserGates ties its roadmap to the Dubai Economic Agenda, or D33, which aims to double the emirate's economy by 2033. It also sees SMEs as central to its model, especially in the UAE, where more than 557,000 operate and the government targets 1 million by 2030.

Early traction: The company says more than $2 million has already been invested across over 10 companies and other asset classes over the past five years. It credits Dubai Chambers and DIFC for early support in establishing its base in the city.

What founders say: Chowdhury said the mission is to "democratize wealth, ownership, capital, and financial literacy for everyone, everywhere," describing financial literacy as "a basic human right." Rahman said every initiative is judged against one question: does it give every individual "a fair shot at building real wealth"?

The signal: WiserGates is betting that fractional SME ownership can bridge blockchain tokenization and the everyday needs of small businesses. The pre-seed will test whether small-scale investors will back productive physical assets directly — and whether the model can scale beyond two markets.
