Uzum's EDB debt financing rises to $100M in Uzbekistan

By the numbers: At $100 million, the deal ranks among the largest debt rounds recorded in Uzbekistan's internet sector — above the 90th percentile across 142 comparable deals. EDB's accumulated portfolio stood at 348 projects worth $22.1 billion as of end-June 2026.

"By financing their growth, we are investing not only in a specific company but also in the region's technological connectivity and access to financial services for millions of people."
