"This investment is a further proof that this technology-led platform is capable of delivering a similar experience in other markets," said R. Dinesh, director at TVS Automobile Solutions.
Tushar Singhvi, deputy chief executive officer and head of investments at Crescent Enterprises, said the deal fits its "strategy of backing established, well-governed businesses with strong fundamentals, proven operating models."
The signal: At roughly $44.1 million, the round sits above the midpoint for its category, a mid-sized raise that reflects growing investor appetite for linking India's scale and talent with UAE capital and regional reach across the Middle East and Asia.
