DigitRE buys Immofit, its first tech acquisition, to lock in interactive property sales
What's the deal? DigitRE Group, the Montpellier-based parent of the Capifrance and Optimhome property adviser networks, is acquiring ImmofitDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a specialist in interactive property sales. The solution, already used by more than 1,500 advisers, becomes exclusive to the group under the name Immofit by Capifrance & Optimhome. Terms were not disclosed.
Why now? The deal, DigitRE's first technology acquisition, fits a broader reorganisation. The group is bringing Capifrance and Optimhome closer together, and Capifrance is due to shift to a network marketing model by the end of the year.
How it works: Immofit runs online sales with ascending prices. A property launches at an attractive starting price, and buyers submit offers over roughly 30 days under the same rules; the seller can stop at any time if the price falls short.
What's the endgame? By owning the product rather than subscribing, DigitRE takes control of the roadmap and secures exclusive use. "We are no longer content to use the best technologies; we are choosing to own them and integrate them," says chairman Olivier Le Gallo.
A tool once open to the whole profession becomes a distinctive feature of the group's offering. Competing networks will lose access, and external subscriptions will not be renewed when they expire.
What's next? DigitRE aims to multiply the number of advisers using the tool fivefold by 2027, reaching about one in two across both networks. Over the next six months, Immofit teams will present the platform, and founder Guillaume Galand will oversee training. Trained advisers get a free trial.
The signal: The challenge lies in the rollout, not the technology, which DigitRE's own advisers have already tested. Le Gallo says he is watching for further acquisitions, in both innovative solutions and small networks of independent agents — a sign the group plans to keep bringing strategic tech in-house.
