PaleBlueDot AI raises $200M Series C to expand GPU compute
What's the deal? PaleBlueDot AI has raised $200 million in a Series C round led by ComputeCore, valuing the Palo Alto startup at $3.2 billion. Existing shareholder B Capital and other global investors joined. The round follows US$97.1M Series B announced in January.
What's the endgame? Founded in 2024, PaleBlueDot AI runs an infrastructure platform combining self-owned GPU clusters, a GPU marketplace, and serverless inference. Its stated mission is to make intelligence "universally accessible."
What's the money for? Proceeds will fund additional compute capacity, giving customers more choice in locations and hardware. Chief executive Stephen Watts said the company will "continue to broaden our customer base, with a focus on frontier labs, Neolabs and enterprises in the US," and invest in full-stack and go-to-market teams.
Why now? As of the end of September 2026, the company had signed more than $5 billion in customer contracts. US and Japanese customers together make up over half of monthly revenue. Its B300 cluster in Japan recently earned NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status.
The signal: The round sits in the 96th percentile among all-time Series C raises for US enterprise software companies, based on a sample of 1,743 deals. That scale reflects how much capital is flowing into AI compute infrastructure as demand for GPUs outpaces supply.
