What's the deal? SharpDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Brazilian AI startup for sales teams, has raised US$434.9K in a pre-seed round, with US$127.9K coming from accelerator Strive. Founded in late 2025 by João Ribeiro and Octavio Garbi, the company analyses sales conversations to spot behaviours that close deals, then uses them to train other reps.
What's the endgame? Sharp's system reviews commercial interactions, including meetings, to identify practices tied to successful sales and organise them into playbooks for the wider team. It also uses AI to simulate negotiations, letting a rep practise against a system that plays the buyer and gives feedback afterwards.
The product angle: Founders Ribeiro and Garbi do not want Sharp to run purely as software; the model also includes people providing coaching and guidance. The pitch is turning what works across live deals into a repeatable product for other sales teams.
Why now? The startup is entering a testing phase with 10 clients, including Loft, Bid BrasilDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and EnergisaDealroom has a profile for this one. The investor: The cheque marks the 10th investment for Strive, an accelerator founded in 2022 by Eduardo Casarini, Tiago Galli, and Patrícia Toledo. The firm has put roughly US$2.05M into 10 startups and plans to raise US$5.12M to build a portfolio of about 20 companies.
The signal: Sharp is betting that AI can solve a long-standing sales mystery. "One salesperson sells 10 times more than another and nobody knows why," says Casarini. "They're probably not following the playbook." (translated from Portuguese)
