Asolvi acquires Beta10 to accelerate growth in European fire and security FSM

What's the deal? In March 2026, Beta10Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Spanish provider of field service management (FSM) software for the private security and alarm sector, was acquired by AsolviDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Norwegian-headquartered European leader in FSM software for the fire and security industry. The deal was made through Asolvi AS, the Norwegian portfolio company of private equity firm Volpi CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which holds a majority stake in the group. No financial details were disclosed.

Why now? Beta10 was founded in 2007 by Pablo Cervantes and Ignacio Montero, and had grown to become the leading FSM software provider across the Spanish security and alarm industry, with a strong foothold in the fire protection sector and organic growth of around 30%. Asolvi has been consolidating Europe's fragmented fire and security software market, and this is its 12th acquisition; fire and safety now represents roughly half of its annual recurring revenue. The combined group, backed by Volpi Capital, Viking Growth and management, serves over 2,000 customers across more than 20 countries.

What could go wrong? Asolvi mostly competes with horizontal FSM vendors and subscale on-premise players, but integration risk grows with every acquisition. Beta10's founders will stay on to bring Spanish market experience, particularly within the alarm safety sub-vertical, while the group prepares to launch a new cloud-native, AI-enabled product in April 2026 that will compete across the UK, Germany, Spain and the Nordics.

The signal: The deal underscores how regulation, low digitalisation and sticky customers are turning fire and security into one of the most attractive end markets in field service software. Consolidation is accelerating: a scaled European platform is absorbing national leaders one by one, rather than new entrants displacing them. For a fragmented Spanish market with thousands of security firms, it signals that vertical-specific software is increasingly the prize for private equity-backed platforms.
