The startup will use the capital to expand its AI-assisted autism and developmental screening technology across India's healthcare system.
What's the endgame? Aignosis provides an initial screening layer for children aged 16 months to nine years. Using a standard laptop and webcam, it captures a short video across nine stimulus modules, with computer vision analysing signals such as gaze, response to name, and reactions to facial expressions.
The resulting risk report flags whether a formal clinical assessment may be warranted; it does not provide a diagnosis.

"This funding marks a shift for Aignosis from building and validating the technology to taking it into the healthcare system at scale," co-founder Raksheet Jain said. The focus now, he added, is to "make autism screening more accessible" and build a model that works across public and private settings.
How it distributes: The startup runs a clinic-in-clinic model, equipping paediatricians to add developmental screening to their practices rather than selling a standalone device. It has deployed across more than 20 government primary health centres in Rajasthan and partnered with Mankind Pharma, whose nearly 1,300 medical representatives support screening camps nationwide.

"Most is built for the top of the pyramid and never leaves it. Aignosis is going the other way, starting in government health centres and small clinics, not private hospitals in metros," Kamath said.
The company has completed more than 8,000 screenings and is targeting at least 100,000 by the end of FY27. It plans to expand into Punjab, the National Capital Region, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
The signal: At about $417,000, the round sits toward the smaller end of seed deals — a modest cheque relative to peers. But the bet is on distribution over scale: reaching underserved public health settings first, where screening infrastructure is thin.
