Openstone, Fundcraft open evergreen fund for global infrastructure

Try Dealroom →, a private assets specialist, and Fundcraft France, a portfolio management company, have launched Openstone Infraworld, an evergreen, open-ended fund dedicated to global private infrastructure. Structured as a French Fonds Professionnel Spécialisé (FPS), it is managed by Fundcraft France and advised by Openstone.

How it works: Openstone identifies and monitors the underlying strategies, while Fundcraft manages the fund and ensures compliance with its regulatory framework and control procedures.

"With Openstone Infraworld, we are not offering simple exposure to infrastructure, but an allocation constructed around complementary strategies," said Nadim Takchi, chief executive officer of Openstone.

He added that debt can generate income, equity can build long-term value, and secondaries provide access to portfolios already invested. "The evergreen format gives this allocation the ability to evolve and broaden over time."

The signal: The evergreen, open-ended format reflects a push to widen access to private infrastructure through a single, continuously investable vehicle rather than traditional closed-end funds.
