ReSpark buys ScrapRight, reaching 1,000 recycling customers in third deal since April

What's the deal? ReSparkDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired ScrapRight, a scrap yard management software provider serving roughly 350 customers across more than 500 locations. The deal value was not disclosed. It closes ReSpark's third combination since April 2026.

What each side does: ReSpark builds technology for the metal recycling industry, covering buying, selling, and pricing material, yard operations, logistics, finance, compliance, and equipment maintenance. ScrapRight, founded by industry veteran Shon Duty, has served recyclers for more than 20 years.

Why now? ReSpark itself formed in April 2026 from the combination of GreenSparkDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and ReMatterDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, then acquired UptimePMDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → in July 2026. With ScrapRight, it now serves roughly 1,000 customers across more than 1,700 locations globally.

What changes for customers? The ScrapRight team, including members of the Duty family, is joining ReSpark to support customers through the transition. ReSpark says it will invest more in product development, support, and AI-powered automation.

What they said: "Bringing our teams together gives us an opportunity to build on that foundation while putting even more resources behind the products and people our customers rely on," said Gordon Driscoll, chief executive officer of ReSpark.

The signal: Vertical software for the scrap trade is consolidating fast. In under six months, ReSpark has folded three players into a single platform, betting that recyclers want one connected system from the scale house to the back office rather than a patchwork of tools.
