Selbetti buys health AI platform Botdesigner in push toward US$255.8M revenue
What's the deal? Selbetti TecnologiaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired BotdesignerDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Florianópolis-based platform that automates the patient journey, for an undisclosed sum. The deal deepens the company's expansion into artificial intelligence and healthcare. Botdesigner serves more than 200 health institutions and has reached over 20 million patients.
What's the endgame? The acquisition is part of a US$25.6M buying cycle planned for 2026, with five deals in the pipeline. Since 2014, SelbettiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has folded 48 companies into its technology ecosystem. The strategy supports its goal of reaching US$255.8M in revenue.
Why healthcare? Botdesigner joins Selbetti's Customer Experience unit, which houses chatbots, voicebots, AI, and process automation. Its platform automates specialty search, scheduling, confirmation, rescheduling, cancellation, and post-appointment follow-up.
The company reports over 85% of appointments automated, more than 90% of consultations confirmed by bot, and a drop in no-shows exceeding 60%. It serves hospitals, clinics, insurers, and imaging services, with strong presence in general practice, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, and imaging.
What did they say? "Health is the sector where we have the largest client base and where demands change fastest," said chief executive officer Junior Selbach (translated from Portuguese). "The challenges of these institutions have become too complex to be solved by an isolated competency."
For Botdesigner, the deal brings reach. "Entering the Selbetti ecosystem gives us scale, capillarity, and a portfolio that complements what we do," said founder and chief executive officer Frederico de Souza.
Why now? Founded in 1977, Selbetti has shifted from a technology equipment and services firm into a group spanning automation, infrastructure, AI, and digital experience. It employs more than 2,200 people across 10 business units. Integration begins October 1, 2026, when Selbetti starts connecting the platform to its other Customer Experience solutions.
The signal: Selbetti's serial dealmaking shows how legacy Brazilian tech firms are buying, rather than building, their way into AI and vertical software. By targeting complementary specialists over sheer volume, the company is betting that combined competencies — not scale alone — will carry it to the US$255.8M mark.
