What's the endgame? The company builds multi-city, multimodal itineraries — flights, trains, buses, and ferries — and its technology now powers WIZZ Holidays, the holiday platform of carrier Wizz AirDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Its licensed Portuguese agency, Tryp.com Lda, sells and operates the packages. It currently sells around 14,000 tickets a month.

Chief executive officer and co-founder André Rangel de Sousa framed the pitch to airlines: "Airlines already have the flights and the customers. What they lack is technology that turns one ticket into a complete trip, built in seconds."

Why now? The raise brings total funds to €5.9 million (just over £5 million). Tryp.com will use the money to sign more travel brands, launch experiences and activity-led trips before the end of 2026, and prepare expansion into Asia and the Americas.

By the numbers: Sales are up fourfold and revenue more than tripled this year, according to the company. Its consumer platform has passed 10 million users and now reaches about 1 million a month.

Investors pointed to that traction. João Henriques, partner at Iberis Capital, which led the previous round, said the company "has more than tripled its user base and become the technology partner for a major European airline's holiday platform. Investing again was an easy decision."

Half of bookings now come from travellers who never typed a search, buying straight from Tryp.com's recommendations. After just four interactions, the firm said, its personalisation model almost triples the click rate on suggested trips.

The signal: The round is a modest one — sitting in the bottom fifth of comparable deals by size — but it reflects a bet that airlines want to sell whole trips, not single tickets. The Wizz Air partnership is Tryp.com's proof point that its engine can run at carrier scale.
