autoMEE raises $2.6M seed to bring real-time accounting to Poland's SMEs
What's the deal? Polish startup autoMEEDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has closed a US$2.5M seed round led by level2 venturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → alongside a group of private business angels. The company builds flowMEE, a platform that pairs generative AI with digital invoicing infrastructure to automate bookkeeping for small and mid-sized businesses.
What's the endgame? The money will fund a module called RZiS live — a profit-and-loss statement updated in real time. The aim is to let managers track gross margin, operating costs, and liquidity daily rather than waiting for a monthly close.
Why now? autoMEE is tying its product to Poland's incoming National e-Invoicing System (KSeF), which standardises structured, digital invoices. "The combination of KSeF and generative AI lets us change this model," said chief executive officer and co-founder Dominik Laskowski (translated from Polish).
The traction: The round does not land at concept stage. More than 700 companies used the platform through integrated accounting firms at the end of September, with about 20 new firms joining each month. autoMEE targets US$1.75M in annual recurring revenue by the end of 2026 and estimates its addressable Polish market at €100 million and 32,000 businesses.
What could go wrong? The model depends on KSeF's rollout; legislative delays or technical problems in the public system would slow adoption. Generative AI can also misclassify unusual cost items — a risk with real consequences under Polish tax law.
The signal: The round sits in roughly the 92nd percentile by size among all-time seed deals in Polish enterprise software, based on a sample of 289 rounds. It reflects investor appetite for automating finance functions for smaller firms — bringing controlling tools once reserved for large corporations to the SME market.
