What does TTS do? It designs and develops curriculum-aligned educational resources, producing 467 new products in FY25, 131 using its own intellectual property. Roughly three quarters of sales go to UK schools and institutions, with the rest overseas, including the United Arab Emirates.

Why now? RM is reshaping its business around digital learning and assessment. Chief executive Mark Cook called the sale "yet another important milestone in the transformation of RM plc," saying it will "significantly reduce RM's net debt position."

What's the endgame? Cook said the deal lets RM focus on "high growth, global opportunities in digital assessment" and its educational IT services. For TTS, current senior management will predominantly stay on, and Eduviva plans to support growth and expand overseas.

Why Eduviva? The buyer already knew the business well. Several of its brands acted as key distributors for TTS, positioning it, in Cook's words, to "build on the success TTS has enjoyed over many years." RM was advised by ClearwaterDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.
