Long Investment Corp raises up to $11M to fund AI and Web3 bets

What's the deal? Long Investment CorpDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (stock code: 2312) is launching a non-underwritten rights issue to raise up to US$10.9M for investments in artificial intelligence and Web3. The Cayman Islands-incorporated investment company is offering one new share for every two held, priced at US$0.05 each.

How it's structured: The offer prices shares at zero discount to the last closing price of US$0.05 and to the theoretical ex-rights price. Net proceeds come to roughly US$10.8M after about US$108.8K in expenses.

Who's backing it: Innoval Capital Holding and Longling CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the substantial shareholders, have committed to take up their full entitlements, with Innoval also applying for excess shares. That backing underpins a deal that carries no underwriter and no minimum subscription level.

Why no discount? The board said a discount would have shifted value from shareholders who do not take up their entitlements to those who do — chiefly the substantial shareholders themselves. It concluded that zero discount best protects shareholders who cannot participate.

Where the money goes: Roughly 90% of proceeds are earmarked for AI and Web3. The maximum 228,439,203 new shares equal 50% of existing capital and about 33.33% of the enlarged base.

The valuation picture: The US$0.05 price sits at a premium to recent net asset value figures, which slipped over 2026 — from about US$0.04 per share at the end of December 2025 to roughly 27.1 HK cents at the end of June 2026. That decline underscores why the company is raising fresh capital rather than deploying reserves.

The signal: A small listed investment vehicle tapping shareholders to fund AI and Web3 shows how far the appetite for both themes now reaches beyond venture and into public markets — with insiders willing to write the cheques themselves.
