Try Dealroom → (TCC), a York, Pennsylvania-based distributor and service provider of fluid power, motion control, automation, and related industrial products. The deal, announced September 29, was for an undisclosed sum.
What each side does: Incline is a Pittsburgh private equity firm focused on the middle market, targeting companies with enterprise values of $25 million to $750 million across services, distribution, software, and specialised light manufacturing. TCC, founded 58 years ago, sells pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, lubrication, and compressed air products, backed by technical service and repair.
The strategic rationale: Incline plans to grow TCC both organically and through acquisitions. "We are excited to pursue opportunities to expand into adjacent offerings organically and through strategic M&A," said Michael Antonelli, a managing director at Incline.
What changes: TCC serves manufacturing plants, food and beverage facilities, and other industrial customers as a supplier to both original equipment manufacturers and end users. Chief executive officer Seth Bray said the deal will let the company invest in its sales and technical teams and "add capabilities that address our customers' evolving needs."
The signal: The acquisition reflects continued private equity interest in value-added industrial distribution, a fragmented sector where firms can build scale by rolling up regional specialists. Incline's stated appetite for further M&A signals TCC is likely a platform for more deals to come.
