A phase 1 study published in Nature Medicine in 2024 showed OMO-103 to be the first Myc inhibitor to succeed in the clinic.
Where's the money going? The funds will complete three ongoing clinical studies of OMO-103, prepare manufacturing for later development phases, and advance talks with potential pharmaceutical partners.
Why now? The ICF stake is its first through the Lidera Transferència en Salut fund, which backs early-stage health and life-sciences projects spun out of Catalan universities and research centres. The €60 million fund — €50 million from the Generalitat and €10 million from the ICF — aims to make advanced therapies viable enough to attract private investors.
