Try Dealroom →, a Delhi-based design-led lighting brand, through his fund SailThru VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The seed round, announced in September 2026, was led by SailThru Ventures. FIG Living did not disclose the amount.

What does it do? FIG Living sells origami lampshades, paper star lighting, and table and pendant lamps to Indian consumers. Nearly 80% of its portfolio uses a knock-down, do-it-yourself format that it credits for cheaper shipping and wider distribution. It holds more than 36 registered designs.

The factory came first. FIG Living's products are made by Inmark Exports Private LimitedDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, incorporated in Delhi in November 1995 and named as the brand's parent. Inmark has spent three decades making paper-based lighting for export from a factory near Greater Noida, holds Star Export House status, and exhibits at Ambiente in Frankfurt.

By the numbers. Inmark filed revenue of US$2.2M for the year to March 2025, up 22%. Net profit was US$54.3K — a 2.5% margin, down about 46% on the year before. FIG Living reports an annual revenue run rate of about US$1.63M, more than 40,000 customers, and a US$2.44M target after the festive season.

Why now? Revenue up, profit down by nearly half is what building a consumer brand costs. The move points a declining export book — Inmark's three-year revenue rate is roughly minus 10% — at domestic buyers under a new name. Co-founder Varun Sharma brings the manufacturing and export side across.

What could go wrong? Going from US$1.63M to US$2.44M is a 50% jump with the festive season one quarter away. At FIG's reported 20% quarterly growth, one quarter lands near US$1.96M, so the target assumes a Diwali quarter running well above trend.

The signal: IMARCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → puts India's decorative lighting market at $1.7 billion in 2025, compounding at 5.89% a year to $3.0 billion by 2034. FIG Living, growing about 20% quarter on quarter, is expanding many times faster than a slow market — but from well under a tenth of a percent of it. That growth is share taken from rivals, or demand that did not exist before.
