Radar maker Arbe raises $15M to chase self-driving and defence deals

What's the deal? Arbe Robotics, a Tel Aviv-based maker of ultra-high-resolution radar, priced a $15 million underwritten registered direct offering on September 25, 2026. The deal covers 833,334 ordinary shares at $0.60 each, plus pre-funded warrants for up to 24,166,666 shares at $0.5999 apiece. Canaccord GenuityDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? Arbe builds a full radar stack — chipsets, systems, and AI algorithms — for passenger vehicles, robotaxis, heavy machinery, and counter-drone systems. It sells to carmakers, Tier-1 suppliers, and defence integrators.

Where does the money go? Working capital and general corporate purposes, with a focus on scaling operations. Arbe flagged its recent selection for an L3 passenger vehicle program at one of the world's largest automotive groups, plus a planned push into defence and counter-drone markets. The company also left the door open to strategic mergers and acquisitions.

Why now? The raise, expected to close on or about September 28, 2026, follows the automaker win and Arbe's stated intent to expand beyond mobility. The pre-funded warrants — immediately exercisable and non-expiring — give investors flexible upside.

The signal: The listed company, which trades on both Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, is tapping public markets to fund a dual bet on autonomous driving and defence sensing — two sectors converging on radar as a core perception layer.
