Try Dealroom →'s acquisition of the business in 2025; deal terms were not disclosed.
Why now? Since the acquisition, the company traded as Brigantia by Elovade. Dropping the transitional name brings the UK and Ireland operation fully under the Elovade brand.
What's the endgame? Elovade wants to widen partner access to the group's scale, vendor relationships and broader European capabilities. The business continues to be led by managing director Angus Shaw, who has joined the Elovade Group board with responsibility for the wider portfolio.
Partners keep the same team, vendor line-up and day-to-day support. "The transition marks an important step in the company's European growth," said Elovade chief executive officer Philip Weber, who pointed to the local team's market knowledge and partner relationships.
Shaw said the launch "represents the next chapter for the business," adding that its portfolio and partner relationships continue unchanged, with further developments expected in the coming months.
The signal: The rebrand reflects continued consolidation in European IT distribution. Elovade now supports more than 25,000 system integrators, MSPs and channel partners across Europe with infrastructure, security and managed services solutions — a network the UK and Ireland business now formally joins.
