What's the deal? Ault & CompanyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a private holding firm led by chief executive officer Milton "Todd" Ault III, made a $55 million investment in Hyperscale DataDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → on September 25, 2026. The money buys convertible preferred shares and, combined with earlier common stock purchases, gives Ault & Company roughly 62% ownership of the NYSE American-listed company.

Why now? Ault & Company says Hyperscale Data's market valuation does not reflect the underlying worth of its assets and operations. The $55 million ranks among the larger post-IPO equity investments of its kind.

What's the endgame? The capital targets Hyperscale's AI data center in Michigan, run by wholly-owned subsidiary Alliance Cloud Services (ACS)Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. More than $70 million has gone into the site, which has a master services agreement (MSA) for an initial 20 megawatts (MW) of AI computing capacity, expandable to 52MW.

That initial deployment could generate over $1.2 billion in revenue across the MSA's 20-year term, rising past $3 billion if the expansion proceeds. ACS says 52MW is under 20% of its proposed 340MW total capacity.

By the numbers: Hyperscale Data reported consolidated revenue of $34.8 million in the second quarter of 2026, spanning defense, aerospace, commercial lending, and blockchain. As of June 30, 2026, total assets stood at about $360 million; by mid-September, it held roughly $51 million in Bitcoin, cash, and restricted cash.

Management values the Michigan campus at between $750 million and $1.25 billion, though it notes these figures are its own opinion, not an independent appraisal.

What could go wrong? Further capacity development depends on financing and regulatory approval, and the projected revenue assumes the MSA runs its full course. The valuation range carries no guarantee of a sale at those levels.

"Our substantial investment in Hyperscale Data is a strategic move based on the value of its holdings and the opportunities that lie ahead," Ault said. The firm is weighing an additional $96 million in series H convertible preferred stock, subject to market conditions.

The signal: The deal reflects growing investor appetite for AI data center capacity, where long-term power contracts underpin outsized revenue projections. By taking majority control rather than a minority stake, Ault & Company is betting the market has yet to price in Hyperscale's infrastructure play.
