What does it do? Founded in 2024 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan offers AI-powered personalised learning for students in tier-II cities and rural areas. It provides coaching, doubt-solving, and study plans for Class 12, CBSE, and NEET.
The details: Accel and Prosus are each investing US$6.45M. The round values Arivihan at around US$77.4M — up nearly 3.3 times from US$23.2M in its previous pre-Series A round. The company plans to use the capital for working capital, expansion, and growth.
Why now? This is the two-year-old firm's second raise in 15 months. It previously secured $4.17 million (around US$4.89M) in a pre-Series A round led by Prosus and Accel.
By the numbers: In FY25, Arivihan's revenue jumped nearly 14.8 times to US$426.4K, from US$28.9K in FY24. It posted a loss of US$604.3K and has yet to file its FY26 financials.
The stakes: After the allotment, Accel IndiaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Prosus will hold 23.54% and 18.57%, respectively. Sawhney, Agrawal, Gulati, and Kapur will hold 1.71%, 1.32%, 0.96%, and 0.66%.
The signal: At $10 million, the round sits in the upper third of comparable deals by size. The bet reflects growing investor appetite for AI-driven education aimed at India's smaller cities and rural markets, where personalised tutoring remains scarce.
