Duqu raises €1.5M to unlock cash trapped in unpaid invoices

What's the deal? Amsterdam-based fintech DuquDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised €1.5 million in pre-seed funding to expand its AI-driven invoice financing platform. Curiosity VCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and No Such VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → backed the round.

What's the endgame? Duqu gives businesses immediate access to revenue tied up in outstanding invoices, easing liquidity strain from late payments. It runs a dual model: a direct invoice advance platform plus white-label AI underwriting technology sold to banks, lenders, and leasing companies.

How it works: A proprietary AI engine automates credit assessment and offers short-term advances on B2B invoices. Founders Maas de Goede and Thijn van Helvoirt built the underwriting technology to serve both their own platform and financial institutions.

Where the money goes: The new funding will scale both sides of the business — the direct advance platform and the white-label underwriting product.

The signal: At €1.5 million, the round sits at the smaller end of European fintech deals, but it targets a persistent problem: cash locked in unpaid invoices. Fintech remains a heavily funded category across Europe, and tools that speed working-capital access continue to draw investor interest.
