Try Dealroom → to fund battery storage co-location in Romania. The Israeli renewable independent power producer, listed in Tel Aviv, will use the capital to scale its hybridisation strategy.
What's the endgame? Econergy is adding battery energy storage systems (BESS) alongside existing solar generation. Co-locating storage lets the company store power when generation is high and dispatch it when demand and prices rise.
Why now? Romania has become an active market for battery storage. Nala RenewablesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → recently brought online a 99MW wind farm there, and the country is drawing investment as the EU pushes to firm up variable renewable supply.
The signal: The raise marks a step-up from Econergy's previous round, a sign of investor confidence in solar-plus-storage economics. As renewables supplied 54% of EU electricity in the second quarter of 2026, storage is becoming the missing piece needed to make that power reliable.
