What's the deal? Nam A Commercial Joint Stock BankDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (NAB) has completed a private placement of bonds worth 100 billion VND (about $3.8 million). The Vietnamese lender issued 100 bonds under the code NAB12606, each with a face value of 1 billion VND.
The terms: The bonds carry a seven-year term, maturing on September 4, 2033, at a floating interest rate of 9.6% per year. The issue was offered on September 4 and completed on September 11, 2026.
Why now? This is the bank's sixth private placement of bonds since the start of 2026. In late June, it raised 400 billion VND through bond code NAB12605, following a 499 billion VND issue on June 11.
What else? Alongside the new issuance, the bank repurchased bonds ahead of schedule. On July 2, it bought back the entire NAB12502 issue for nearly 260.3 billion VND, settling that debt six years early.
The bank also reappointed Hoang Hai Vuong as deputy general director for a 12-month term, effective September 11, 2026.
The signal: The steady cadence of issuances and early buybacks points to active balance-sheet management, with NAB tapping debt markets repeatedly while retiring older, costlier obligations ahead of schedule.
