Who's who? C86 helps organisations deploy technology for mission-critical work across AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. LucSien, founded in 2019, is a boutique advisory firm that supports senior management through transformations, cost-cutting programmes, and operating model redesigns.

What's the endgame? The combined firm is targeting €250 million in revenue and global scale by 2027. According to a joint release, combined revenues are "expected to almost triple by the end of next year."

Why now? Both companies frame the tie-up around AI's impact on consulting. "AI is rewriting the rules of consulting," said Michael Fröhlich, CEO and founder of LucSien. He added that AI can support analysis, but decisions "still requires people who have done it before."

The merged businesses operate across the UK, Europe, and the US, spanning financial services, critical infrastructure, transport, the public sector, and enterprise technology. The signal: The deal reflects a broader push to fuse management consulting with AI-driven delivery, as advisory firms bet that technical depth paired with senior judgment will define the next era of the sector.
