LandBridge unit taps debt market for $100M in 6.250% notes due 2030

What's the deal? LandBridge Company LLCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → said its subsidiary, DBR Land Holdings LLCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, launched a private placement of $100 million in senior notes carrying a 6.250% coupon and maturing in 2030. The company plans to use the net proceeds to repay part of the borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility.

Why now? The notes are being offered as additional debt under an indenture dated November 25, 2025, under which the issuer previously sold $500 million of 6.250% notes due 2030. The new notes carry identical terms to the existing ones, apart from issue date and price, and will form part of the same series.

What's the endgame? The offering shifts borrowings from a floating-rate, shorter-dated credit facility into fixed-rate debt maturing in 2030. That reduces near-term refinancing pressure and locks in a known interest cost at the same rate the company already pays on its 2030 notes.

What could go wrong? The offering is subject to market conditions, and LandBridge said there is no assurance it will close. The notes will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933; they are being sold only to qualified institutional buyers in the US under Rule 144A and outside the US under Regulation S.

The signal: By adding $100 million of long-dated, fixed-rate debt on top of its existing $500 million, LandBridge is consolidating its liabilities into a single 2030 series and swapping revolver exposure for predictable costs — a defensive move to steady its balance sheet.
